Thermite - Robotic Firefighting

Fish Farming on Land

Imagine a world where people no longer need to brave the heat and danger of a fire to defeat the flames.

In California where wildfires and forest fires are becoming more and more abundant, Howe & Howe have developed a robotic firefighter and adopted by the LA Fire Department to help human firefighters.

What is built to be a fire-fighting tank, the Thermite RS3 can blast flames with 2,500 gallons of water every minute and fitted with thermal and optical camera to find precisely the most dangerous and hottest areas of a fire to tackle.

In Dec 2020 the RS3 was first used to tackle a building fire after human firefighters had been called to safety.
